Give Back: Breast Cancer Care in Our Hometown

Uptwn Kix is a Jamestown store, and we want to help the people here. Breast cancer touches almost every family we know, so for Breast Cancer Awareness we teamed up with Jay n Abe on a pink ribbon collection, and we're asking our community to give back with us.

Where your donation goes

We picked the WCA Foundation, the local foundation that supports UPMC Chautauqua hospital right here in Jamestown. Their Shades of Pink Fund is helping expand mammography at UPMC Chautauqua, so women in Chautauqua County can get screened sooner and wait less for follow-up appointments. Catching breast cancer early saves lives.

We chose a small, local foundation on purpose. Big national charities get millions of donors. A gift here stays in our community and makes a real difference for our neighbors.

How it works

  • Tap the button below. It takes you to the WCA Foundation's own secure donation page.
  • Your money goes straight to the WCA Foundation. Uptwn Kix never receives, holds or touches your donation.
  • On the form, choose a specific fund and write Shades of Pink Fund (mammography at UPMC Chautauqua).
  • The WCA Foundation sends your receipt. Ask them or your tax advisor about deductibility.
